Our Mic of the Month promotion ended on December 31st. It was an amazing year. Sennheiser thank all of you for visiting us, praising our mics and telling your own unique stories.
Back in 1998, we were both proud and nervous: We built an incredible production machine from scratch – and once again set an evolution in motion: In your band, on your stages, in your productions.
Let’s celebrate 20 years of progression, of failure and success together. We’ll take you behind the curtain and reveal the ups and downs in our labs and productions. We want to hear your stories – and of course do we offer some of the best evolution mics for a marvelous anniversary price.
With evolution, we have grown so much closer to sound engineers, to musicians, performers and artists. Thanks for trusting our passion. We’re pretty excited to see where evolution will take us over the next decades.
1998 - Aerosmith just had a number one hit in the USA with I Don't Want to Miss a Thing - the first evolution series microphones rolled off the production line in Germany, near Hannover. They too were to become a hit - and still are today, 20 years later. But why actually?
Whether you are a singer, guitarist or drummer: just like your band, the evolution microphones are specialized. They record the character of the voice and each instrument exactly as it requires: The soft warmth of the voice, the pressure of powerful riffs, the fast attack of the drumset, everything.
You're rehearsing your first songs? Or filling entire stadiums? No matter what, evolution has the right microphones for you: The 600 series (instruments) and 800 series (vocals) fit within every budget. They sound better than the standard and are robust and uncomplicated to handle.
The 900 Series is a harmoniously matched family of high-end microphones with sophisticated sound and unsurpassed reliability for uncompromising professionals.
